My Winter Shoe Staples ♡

Hi everyone,
I'm going to share with you my winter shoe staples today! First of all I just want to say that I hoped you all had an amazing Christmas whatever you did on the day!

                 Miss Selfridge - £36

I have had these boots for a few years now and they have lasted so so well. I rolled them down to make them more of an ankle boot and they have this super cosy lining. They are really versitile and I could wear them with basically anything!
I think a sturdy pair of black boots are an essential for winter!

               Marks and Spencer's - £30

I love these shoes so much and wear them way too much. They are so handy, they can be worn with a skirt to make them look really formal or with a pair of jeans to look more casual. They also make an outfit look a bit quirky and different! What's not to love?!

                 Next - £36

These ankle boots were originally more of a proper pair of boots, they came about a third way up my thigh. But I decided to cut them not long ago as I never wore them and I wanted them to be a lot shorter. I now love the way they look and have worn them more times in the past few months than I have in the past 2 years!

                 eBay - £70

Again I absolutely love these shoes they are perfect for this time of year and are defiantly a worthwhile investment!
I hole you enjoyed this post!

☃ Countdown To Christmas TAG ☃

Hello everyone,
It's only 3 days till Christmas so I thought I would do the countdown to Christmas tag to get in the festive mood!

1 ☃ When do you start getting excited?
No joke I actually start thinking about Christmas in October, I don't get excited untill mid December but I defianatly start thinking about it way too early.

2 ☃ What are your plans for the holidays this year?
I actually don't know this year soooooo.

3 ☃ What's at the top of your Christmas list this year?
I haven't really asked for anything big this year, but I think I am getting a watch and that's all I know so far.

4 ☃ Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I wish but no I haven't :(

5 ☃ Talk us through your typical Christmas day.
So everyone would get up and open presents. We would then have breakfast and get ready for the day at about 11 ish. Then at about 6 ish we will have Christmas dinner! Which I know is a little strange as most people have Christmas lunch.

6 ☃ Do you have any Christmas traditions?
Instead of having proper Christmas dinner my family has our own version each year, so I guess it's a tradition!

7 ☃ Play or sing you favourite Christmas song!
I'm going to leave this one out haha!

8 ☃  Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I don't really bother with New Years resolutions that much as I would proberbly not stick to them.

9 ☃ What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
To be honest I wouldn't like to go anywhere else for Christmas, it wouldn't be the same.

10 ☃ Are you a pro - present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
I defianatly fail miserably, I'm really awful at wrapping presents!

11 ☃ Ice skate well or fail miserably?
I actually have ice skating lessons so I'm going for skate well!

12 ☃ White lights or coloured lights?
We have white lights on our Christmas tree and coloured ones outside.

13 ☃ Snowboarding or skiiing?
I'm awfull at both but I have had 1 snowboard lesson so I'm going for snowboarding!

14 ☃ Favourite winter nail polish?
It's a colour I have on my nails right now. It's by L'oreal and is a gorgeous dark shimmery blue colour!

15 ☃ Favourite winter lip product?
Defianatly lip balm, my favourite is the palmers coco butter one!

16 ☃ Most worn accessory?
Either my tartan scarf or my bowler hat.

17 ☃ Favourite winter beverage?
The honeycomb hot chocolate from costa or the chocolate orange moca latte. They are soooooo good!

18 ☃ Favourite holiday food / treat?
Mince pies, they are so good!

19 ☃ Favourite winter scent / candle?
I'm not really a candle person.

I hope you enjoyed this post and are getting excited for Christmas!

I paired them with a plain white long sleeved top from Zara and of course my docs! For a bit of colour I wore my bright green beanie and this vintage style bag that I got from a craft centre thing last weekend. I had wanted a bag like this for ages so I happy I have finally got one!

My Autumn / Winter Fashion Favourites

Hello everyone,
Today I'm going to share my autumn / winter fashion favourites! These two seasons are by far the best in terms of fashion for me, endless outfits!

So this is my new coat that I was talking about in my last post. Im in love! It's so warm and cosy and I love the style of the collar. It's quite a formal coat and I love the way it looks buttoned up. I was quite suprised that I even was able to find a coat that fitted me. In case your all wondering where I got it, it's from Henry Holland at Debenhams and I got it in a size 6. It was orginally £75 but I managed to get it for £27.50 with various offers and deals!

Another jacket / coat is this one I got this from a charity shop for £2.99 not too long ago. It does actually look a bit small in the photo but it doesn't look so bad in real life ( I hope) ! It's actually from the childrens section in the charity shop and is age 6, you probably realise how small I am now;)! But I love it anyway and I think it's always good to have a denim jacket in your wardrobe!

This scarf is really old fashioned looking I think?! It goes with so many different outfits and adds something else to a plain black top. It used / still is my mums but she doesnt wear it that often!

This bag I have featured soooooo many times in outfit posts so you are all probably sick of it now! But again it's from a charity shop and I got it for £3.99, it's really handy and is a nice change from a shoulder bag!

I couldn't have a favourites post without mentioning my docs, they are such a good sturdy winter boot. They go with loads of things and the colour is so pretty!

I hoped you enjoy this post, let me know your autumn / winter fashion favourites in the comments!

My Weekend #2

Hey everyone
I thought I would share my weekend antics with you all, I didnt do that much but I took some photos for you all!

I went to see The Hunger Games Catching Fire on Friday, it was amazing and I would defianatly recommend it if you haven't already seen it! I personally thought it was better than the first one and the first one was really good. I also got a honeycomb hot chocolate before I went in and my friends got normal hot chocolates!

                  Boots ~ Next & DIY
                  Jumper ~ H&M
                  Scarf ~ My mums

On Saturday I went for a walk with my Mum and Dad. Usually I don't like walks but I actually quite enjoyed it, I think I must have been in a Christmassy mood or something!

On Sunday I went shopping with my Mum, I finally bought a new much needed winter coat after a lot of deliberation! I must have tried on about 20 coats, but every single one was too long ( I hate being so small ). My mum still needs to tack in the coat I got! I will show it in a future outfit post very soon!
Thank you for reading,

Shopping In Charity Shops ♡ Tips

Hello everyone,
I have recently got into shopping in charity shops, you can find so many good bargains. So I thought I would share my tips with you so we can all find fabulous bargains!

1} Okay so my first tip is to be open minded when you go into a charity shop. There is no point going in thinking you won't find anything because you probably won't if you think like that.

2} This point kind of contradict the first point, but I think it's also good to not have your mind set on something you are going to find. So if you walked in and were set on finding a tartan scarf or a denim jacket and you didn't find either of them, you are going to be really put off and may not be bothered to go into any more charity shops, as you feel dis-heartened.

3} Tip number 3 is to not look at something as it looks on the hanger. It sounds really stupid but try and imagine it with other items you own or what it would actually look like on you.

4} I sometimes find that things in charity shops can be quite overpriced for what they are especially seen as they are second handed. I tend to not pay anything over £4 unless its something really special.

5} My final tip is to have a proper look through everything before you leave the shop as you never know what gem could be hiding in the corner.

I know sometimes it can be quite daunting at first, I have had a lot of weird looks off people, but it's all for a good cause because everything is going to charity which is a massive positive! So even if when you get home you realise you don't like what you bought it probably didn't cost that much and the money would have gone to a charity anyway!

I hoped you enjoyed this chatty post and if you have anymore tips leave then in the  comments so we can all have a nosey!

♡ Vintage Patterns ♡

Hello everyone,

                Shirt ~ Charity Shop
           Jumper ~ Vintage Shop
         Leggings ~ Next
       Necklaces ~ Accesorize & Pandora

I wore this outfit on Saturday, I was orginally just wearing the shirt but I got cold so I added this jumper and I actually really like them both together. I love outfits that you can wear leggings with because they are just so comfy. Also I just have to mention my hair, it looks so cute but I think it's a love, hate kind of hair style!
What's your favourite clothing pieces for autumn?

Review ♡ Pretty Quik Nail Polish Remover

                  Boots ~ £2.50
Hello everyone!
I haven't done a review on my blog for ages so I thought I would today.

For me taking off my nail polish is such a chore, I love painting them but taking them off is so time consuming. But with this nail polish remover it only takes me about 30 seconds which is defiantly a lot quicker than 10 minutes.  All you do is put your nail in the tub and within 5 seconds your nail polish has come off. I actually enjoy taking my nail varnish off now, which I didn't think I would hear myself saying! It also leaves your you nails smelling really nice, which is a bonus. Overall I would really recommend this product, its a really affordable price and does the job very quickly!

Winter coats ☃

                    1. New Look £50
                    2. New Look £40
                    3. New look £55
Hey guys,
A good, sturdy coat is defiantly a must for for the autumn winter months. I have never found my 'perfect' coat but this year I will make it my mission to find it.
I have been loving the oversized/boyfriend style blazer coats that have been floating round the shops the last month or so and I think that's the style I'm going to go for - but a big fury parka does sound quite tempting!
Sorry they are all from New Look, they defianatly have upped their game!

October Playlist

Hi guys!
For today's post I thought I would do something a little different to usual to add a bit of variety to what I post. So I decided to do an October playlist, I'm basically just going to tell you all my top 5 songs I have been loving listening to this month. I know my taste of music may not suit your taste of music and vice versa but I thought this would be a cool random post to do!

1. Lorde ~ Tennis Court
I have to admit when I first listened to this song I did find it a little odd, but I have defiantly warmed to it.

2. Lorde ~ Royal
I promise not all the songs are going to be by Lorde. Again the more I listened to this song the more I like it.

3. Chvrches ~ Recover
I love the chorus to this song it's really catchy and different.

4. Birdy ~ Wings
I have been a fan of Birdy for a while now and her new song is amazing. Its defiantly one of my favourite songs by her along with Skinny Love.

5. Haim ~ Falling
This song is quite a recent discovery but I really like it.

I hope you enjoyed this slightly different post and you maybe like a few of the songs mentioned. Let me know your favourite songs of October in the comments!

♡ Autumn Leaves ♡

                   Jumper ~ H&M
                   Skirt ~ Primark
                   Scarf ~ My Mums
                   Belt ~ New Look
                   Bag ~ Charity Shop

Hello everyone,
My outfit today was very autumnal, all the colours reminded me of the leaves on the ground around this time of the year. I would obviously wear tights with this outfit but I couldn't find any today so I had to make to without.
As most of you would probably know tartan is big this autumn / winter and tartan scarfs even more so. I love this scarf as the colours are a nice change from your typical red and black colours. I added a knitted jumper for some warmth and I would wear my low dr marten style shoes.
