March Favourites | 2013

Hello lovelies,
Today I'm going to do my March favourites, I don't have that many so this post isn't going to be long.

Jacket - Zara
I featured this jacket in a haul and outfit post a few posts back. I have been wearing this none stop, whenever I go out the jacket I wear is always this one!

T-Shirt - Primark
I have loved styling this top over the past month, as you can see its really plain so I have loved adding lots of necklaces to make it more interesting. I will be writing a outfit post featuring this top soon so keep your eyes out!

Earrings - Newlook
I got these earrings at the start of the year, I hadn't really worn them that much but now I can't stop wearing them. They are deffinatly a statement piece and they are a nice change from studs.

Bracelet - Avon
I'm not really a bracelet person, but I love the colour of this one and it reminds me of the deathly hallows symbol from Harry Potter. I'm a massive Harry Potter fan so I partly think I only wear it because of that!

Song - Ariana Grande ft Mac Miller The Way
I have only just started listening to this song but I really like it even though it's a bit weird. And who can not love Ariana Grande? She's perf!

As I said this post is only a short one but I wanted to share with you my favourites of March! I can't wait for April as it's my birthday on the 12th so it will be a celebration and shopping month for me!

✩ L'oreal Studio Salt Spray Review ✩

Hello everyone,
I hope you like the new layout, I have gone for plain and simple because my old layout seemed cluttered and too girly!
I mentioned in my last haul that I would be doing a review on the L'oreal studio matt and messy salt spray (it's a mouthful) so here it is.

Price: £3.55
Content: 150ml
Where?: Superdrug or boots

✩Packaging✩
I personally don't like the packaging the grey of the bottle is really boring and doesn't stand out on the shelves. It comes in a round bottle, although it looks quite different and funky it's such an awkward bottle to hold. My hands are quite small so I find it hard getting my hand round the bottle to actually spray the product. The actual pump is really stiff so it makes application even harder. When the product finally does come out it sprays a lot of product in one area which is really annoying.

✩Product✩
To be blunt this product is rubbish. It claims to add texture, extra-lift and definition for 'sexy beach look'. I dont think it meets any of those criteria's. It leaves my hair feeling greasy and weighed down. It also claims to be matt and none greasy but as I said above a lot of product sprays out in one area leaving your hair damp, 'wet' and greasy. My hair is quite thin so it looked even worse! It said on the bottle that you could spray it on dry or wet hair so I sprayed it on my hair after I washed it and let it dry naturally. I found that it did leave my hair with some waves but when I woke up the next morning the waves had come out.

✩Overall✩
I wouldn't recommend this product unless you have naturally wavy hair you probably wouldn't buy it if you already had wavy hair anyway but it might enhance the waves. But if you are like me and your hair isn't straight but isn't wavy then I wouldn't recommend it as it just does nothing to your hair except making it look greasy.

I hoped you enjoyed this post even though it was negative but everyone loves a rant once in a while! These are only my views and opinions.

I ♡ Spring Tag

Hey dolls,
Long time no see. I recently have had no ideas of what to post so please write a comment requesting some things you want to see, it would be much appreciated!
Anyway I thought I would do this tag today I didn't get tagged to do it but Im going to do it anyway!

Favourite spring nail polish?
This is a hard one for me because I have so many to choose from. I would proberbly choose Topshop Domestic Goddess as I have already worn it so many times and I think it's a perfect muted pink. I have already spoken about this polish in previous posts so be sure to check those out.

What is your must-have lip colour this spring?
My Bodyshop born lippy in Strawberry I love the smell of this product it's devine. This lip balm is surprisingly quite pigmented and because I have naturally quite dark red lips this colour adds I really nice pinky colour to my lips so it's great for spring.

Show us your favourite spring dress!
To be honest I'm not really a dress kind of girl so I don't own any. As I'm quite small I feel dresses make me look younger than I am and I like putting outfits together and mix and matching myself rather than having an already made outfit.

What's your favourite flower?
I'm not really fussed on flowers but if I had to chose I would say daisies because I like the contrast of colours!

Favourite spring scarf/accessory?
I have chosen accessory and my favourite is my h&m gold chain. I love this chain because I feel it finishes an outfit and it jazzes up boring pieces!

What spring trends are you most excited about this year?
Definatly monochrome as I love black and white together and I already have quite a few monochrome pieces. I'm also loving dungarees or dungaree skirts I have seen some in Topshop that I really like but I have been put off by the price tag. It's my birthday in a few weeks so I may get one with some birthday money (I'm already excited thinking about it).

Favourite spring candle/drink?
When I think of candles I think of wrapping up in a blanket by the fire so I'm not really a spring candle kind of gal! I'm loving peach ice tea at the moment, it's so refreshing and different!

Favourite body spray/perfume?
I chose my Clarins Eau De Jardins perfume. This scent is really fresh and uplifting so it's perfect for spring! I also love Taylor Swifts Wonderstruck perfume!

What is spring like where you live?
I live in england so spring is very wet and cold. However every blue moon there is the odd hot day.

What is your favourite thing about spring?
I love hearing the birds singing in the mornings and spending all day shopping in the sun without having to worry about bringing your umbrella round with you 24/7.

Are you a spring cleaner?
Not really.

Any plans for a spring break/vacation?
I'm going to London soon with my family which I'm excited about as I love London!

Spring / Summer Nail Polishes ☯

Hey everyone,
If you haven't twigged already, I love nail polish. Whenever I go shopping I always return with a new polish (unless I have banned myself from buying them). So I thought I would do a nail post today!

These 5 polishes are my top colours for s/s. So if you are on the hunt for some new polishes I would recommend these colours.

The first two polishes are from Barry M I love both of these colours especially the coral, I don't know the name of it because the sticker fell off but I think it's either coral or pink flamingo. They are both fun, bright colours and I love wearing these colours with outfits that don't have any bright colours in them as your nails really stand out!

I'm not going to go on too much about this polish as I did a nail of the day about it. But if you aren't a fan of bright colours then I would recommend this colour as its a muted pink so it's not too bright but it still brings a bit of colour to the nails.

The last two colours are probably my favourite. I know this is random but they remind me of the sea so they are perfect for summer!

♡ Casual Tramp ♡

Hey guys,
This outfit post is quite casual, it kind of reminds me of a tramp because of the hat and jacket but I quite like that!

I really love all the colours in this outfit they all complement each other especially the jacket and jumper. I featured a few of this pieces in my latest haul and I have enjoyed styling them. I would probably wear my converse with this outfit to add to the 'trampy' look.

Lush Space Girl | Review ♡

Hey everyone,
I don't know about you but I love lush, even though I haven't tried many of their products I can tell I'm defiantly hooked.

I tried out their Space Girl Bath Balistic a few days ago. I love the smell of Lush's bath bombs but this one is my favourite, the only way I can describe it is that it smells exactly like Parma Violets! It is shaped like a planet and has purple and blue glitter all over, It leaves your bath a gorgeous lilac colour. I defiantly recommend space girl and it is one of Lush's cheapest products at £2.10.

♡ Simple Stripes ♡

Hello everyone,
I hope February has been a good month for you. I would have usually posted a february favourites, but I haven't really had that many favourites this month and I didn't want to do one just for the sake of it. Instead I'm going to do this outfit post!

This outfit is very black based but the purple of the skirt and the stripes make this outfit look a bit more interesting and colourful. I loved experimenting with textures in this outfit. Although you can't really see the different textures, the skirt is made from a chiffon material (it's soooo soft).
